Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7040-5AK71-1EH3 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor delivers a continuous torque of 1.6 Nm and a power output of 0.69 kW at 6000 rpm. It features natural cooling, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. The motor is configured in an IM B5 mounting style (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3), offering versatile integration options. Electrical connections are facilitated through a rotatable power/signal connector plug, adjustable by 270 degrees for optimal cable routing. An absolute ENDAT 2048 p/rev encoder provides high-resolution position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% reduction in overall motor performance. The motor has a plain shaft with tolerance N and includes a holding brake for secure standstill positioning. It is protected to IP64 standards and finished with a RAL7016 paint.
