The SIMOTICS S 1FK7040-5AK71-1FG2 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for high-performance applications. It delivers a continuous torque of 1.6 Nm and a power output of 0.69 kW at 6000 rpm, operating under natural cooling conditions. The motor is configured in an IM B5 design (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3 mounting), ensuring versatile installation options. Electrical connections are facilitated through a rotatable power/signal connector plug, adjustable by 270 degrees for optimal cable routing. An absolute encoder with 2048 pulses per revolution (Encoder A-2048) and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface provides precise position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% reduction in overall performance. The motor features a plain shaft with tolerance N and does not include a holding brake. It is protected to IP65 standards at the flange on the drive end and IP67 overall, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments. This servo motor is ideal for applications requiring precision, compactness, and robust environmental protection.
