The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1EB3 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor features a rated torque of 3.0 Nm and is capable of operating at speeds up to 3000 rpm, delivering a power output of 0.82 kW. It utilizes natural cooling, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. The motor is designed with an IM B5 flange mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3), offering versatile mounting options. Its power and signal connectors are pluggable and can be rotated by 270°, providing flexibility in cable routing. An absolute encoder ENDAT 2048 P/REV (ENCODER A-2048) ensures accurate position feedback, although its presence results in a 10% performance reduction. The motor shaft includes a fitted key with tolerance N for secure mechanical connections. A holding brake is integrated for reliable stopping and holding torque. The motor is protected to IP64 standards, safeguarding against dust and water spray, and finished with a durable RAL7016 paint.
