Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1FA2 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor features a rated torque of 3.0 Nm at 100K, making it suitable for dynamic tasks. With a rated speed of 3000 rpm and a power output of 0.82 kW, it delivers efficient performance. The motor is naturally cooled, simplifying installation and maintenance. It is designed with an IM B5 flange mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3). The power and signal connectors are plug-in type and can be rotated by 270° for flexible connectivity. An absolute encoder with 2048 pulses per revolution (Encoder A-2048) and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface ensures accurate positioning. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% performance reduction. The motor shaft includes a fitted key with tolerance N, and it does not include a holding brake. The motor offers IP65 protection on the flange and IP67 protection on the drive end, ensuring durability in demanding environments.
