Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1FB3 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor features a rated torque of 3.0 Nm and is capable of operating at speeds up to 3000 rpm, delivering a power output of 0.82 kW. The motor is naturally cooled, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. It is designed with an IM B5 mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3), offering versatile mounting options. The power and signal connectors are plug-in type and can be rotated by 270°, providing flexibility in cable routing. An absolute encoder with 2048 pulses per revolution (Encoder A-2048) and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface ensures accurate position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% reduction in performance. The motor shaft includes a fitted key with tolerance N and a holding brake for secure positioning. It has an IP64 protection rating, safeguarding against dust and splashing water, and is finished with a RAL7016 paint for corrosion resistance.
