Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1KA2 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor features a rated torque of 3.0 Nm at 100K, and a maximum speed of 3000 rpm, delivering an output of 0.82 kW. It is naturally cooled, utilizing an IM B5 mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3). The motor is equipped with a rotatable power/signal connector plug, adjustable by 270 degrees for flexible installation. It incorporates a BASIC ABSOLUTE ENCODER with 32 pulses per revolution (ENCODER A-32) and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface, ensuring accurate position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder results in a 10% performance reduction. The motor shaft includes a fitted key with tolerance N. It does not include a holding brake. The motor is designed with IP65 protection on the flange at the drive end and IP67 protection overall, ensuring robust performance in demanding environments.
