The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1KB0 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor delivers a continuous torque of 3.0 Nm at 100K, with a rated speed of 3000 rpm and a power output of 0.82 kW. It features natural cooling, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. The motor is designed with an IM B5 flange mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3). It includes a rotatable power/signal connector plug that can be adjusted by 270° for flexible cable routing. The BASIC ABSOLUTE ENCODER A-32 provides 32 pulses per revolution and utilizes a DRIVE-CLiQ interface for seamless communication with Siemens drives. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% performance reduction. The motor shaft has a fitted key with tolerance N and a holding brake for secure standstill positioning. It is protected to IP64 standards, ensuring resistance to dust and splashing water.
