Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AK71-1KG3 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor delivers a continuous torque of 3.0 Nm and a power output of 1.02 kW at 6000 rpm, making it suitable for dynamic tasks. It features natural cooling, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. The motor is designed with an IM B5 flange mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3), offering versatile mounting options. Electrical connections are facilitated through a rotatable power/signal connector plug, adjustable by 270 degrees for flexible cable routing. An absolute encoder with 32 pulses per revolution (Encoder A-32) and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface provides accurate position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% performance reduction. The motor has a plain shaft with tolerance N and does not include a holding brake. It is protected to IP64 standards, ensuring resistance to dust and splashing water, and finished with a RAL7016 paint for enhanced durability and aesthetics.
