The SIMOTICS S Synchronous motor 1FT7108-5AF71-1CG1 from Siemens is a high-performance motor designed for demanding industrial applications. It boasts a stall torque (M0) of 70Nm at 100K and a rated speed (NN) of 3000rpm, delivering a rated power (PN) of 6.28kW. The motor is naturally cooled, ensuring efficient thermal management without the need for external cooling systems. Its frame size adheres to IMB 5 standards (IM V1, IM V3), featuring a conventional flange that is compatible with 1FT6/1FK7 motors for easy integration. The power connector is rotatable, providing flexibility in installation. An absolute encoder with 24 bits + 12 bit multiturn resolution and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface (ENCODER AM24DQI) ensures precise position control. The motor features a plain shaft and does not include a holding brake. It is manufactured to tolerance class N and vibration severity grade A, with a degree of protection IP65, safeguarding it against dust and water ingress.
