The SIMOTICS GP motor, model 1LE1001-1DB42-2AB4 from Siemens, is a robust and efficient low-voltage motor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. This IEC squirrel-cage rotor motor features self-cooling and an IP55 enclosure, providing protection against dust and water splashes. The motor is built with an aluminum enclosure and is designed to meet temperature class 155(F), utilizing insulation according to 130(B) standards. As a High Efficiency IE2 motor, it complies with efficiency standards; within the EEA, it meets the minimum IE3 efficiency requirements as per (EU) 2019/1781 since July 1, 2021. This 4-pole motor, size 160L, delivers 15 kW at 50 Hz and 17.3 kW at 60 Hz. The motor is painted in standard color RAL 7030, unless an alternative color is specified via order code. It is designed for 3 AC power at 50 Hz with 230 VD/400 VY configuration and 3 AC power at 60 Hz with 460 VY. The motor is configured for IM B3 mounting and includes 3 PTC thermistors for disconnection, accessible via 2 terminals, with the terminal box located on top.
