The SIMOTICS SD motor, identified by type 1CV2222B, is a low-voltage, IEC standard squirrel-cage rotor motor designed for industrial applications. This self-cooled motor features an IP55 protection rating, ensuring resilience against dust and water ingress. Its insulation system is rated for temperature class 155(F), with utilization according to 130(B), providing a thermal margin for reliable operation. The motor's robust gray cast iron housing ensures durability in demanding environments. As a Basic Line High Efficiency IE2 motor, it meets efficiency standards, and within the EEA, it complies with the higher IE3 efficiency requirements as of July 1, 2021, according to (EU) 2019/1781. This 4-pole motor, size 225M, delivers 45 kW at 50 Hz and 52 kW at 60 Hz. The standard color is RAL 7030, unless a different color is specified via order code. It is designed for 3 AC 50Hz 400VY and 3 AC 60 Hz 460 VY power supplies and configured for IM B3 mounting, without integrated motor protection, and features a top-mounted terminal box.
