The SIMOTICS SD motor, identified as type 1CV3182B, is a low-voltage, IEC standard squirrel-cage rotor motor designed for industrial applications. This self-cooled motor features an IP55 enclosure, providing protection against dust and water spray. It is designed with temperature class 155(F) insulation, but is utilized according to 130(B). The motor's robust gray cast iron housing ensures durability and longevity in demanding environments. As a Basic Line motor, it offers Premium Efficiency IE3 performance, adhering to energy efficiency standards. This 4-pole motor is available in frame size 180M, delivering 18.5 kW at 50 Hz and 21.3 kW at 60 Hz. Operating at 3 AC 50 Hz 400 VD/690 VY and 3 AC 60 Hz 460 VD, it is suitable for various power supply configurations. The motor is configured for IM B3 mounting and does not include motor protection, with the terminal box located at the top.
