The SIMOTICS M compact asynchronous motor 1PH7163-2ND03-0CA3 from Siemens is a robust and efficient electric motor designed for demanding industrial applications. This core type motor delivers a rated power of 22 kW at 1000 rpm, producing a torque of 210.1 Nm. It can also operate at an increased capacity of 25 kW at 1150 rpm, generating a torque of 207.6 Nm. The motor is designed for a 400 V 3AC 50 Hz power supply and draws a current of 55 A. Cooling is provided by a fan, and the motor is equipped with a relative motor encoder 1 VSS 2048 P/U for precise speed and position control. The terminal box is located on top with cable entry on the right side using PG cable glands. Its construction type is IM B35 (IM V15, IM V36), ensuring versatile mounting options. It features vibration severity grade S and shaft/flange accuracy R, along with a feather key and half-key balancing. The motor has an IP55 rating, with the fan having an IP54 rating, and is finished with a standard paint in RAL 7016.
