The SIMOTICS M compact asynchronous motor 1PH7186-2AF00-0EA0-Z from Siemens is a high-performance electric motor designed for demanding industrial applications. It delivers a rated power of 74 kW at 1500 rpm, producing a torque of 471.1 Nm. For variable speed control (VC) applications, it can achieve 85 kW at 1750 rpm with a torque of 463.8 Nm. The motor operates at 173 A under normal conditions and 172 A in VC mode. This model does not include a brake and is equipped with a fan for efficient cooling. The cable gland entry is standard, and the terminal box is conveniently located on top with cable entry on the right side. It features an IM B3 type of construction and is designed with bearing suitable for belt output applications. The motor has a vibration severity grade of R and standard shaft and flange accuracy (N). It includes a fitted key and half-key balancing, with the direction of air flow from the drive end (DE) to the non-drive end (NDE). The motor is protected to IP55 standards, with the fan having IP54 protection, and finished with a prime-coated paint.
