The SIRIUS MCU motor starter 3RK4324-3JR54-1BC0 from Siemens is an electromechanically switched device designed for motor protection and control. Encased in a robust IP54-rated plastic enclosure, it ensures protection against dust and splashing water. This motor starter incorporates AS-Interface communication capabilities, facilitating seamless integration into automated systems. It features short-circuit protection and motor starter protection with bi-metal thermal overload relays. The device is configured as a reversing starter with braking functionality but without performance class 4A. Operation is simplified with a gray/black rotary operating mechanism and manual operation. Connection is achieved via M-gland power connectors. This special version boasts a new design and functions as an A/B slave according to AS-I specification V2.1, equipped with one AS-I and one DI/DO port for sensor/actuator connectivity, along with a power sensor U-aux.
