The SIRIUS MCU motor starter 3RK4324-3NR51-0BC0 from Siemens is an electromechanically switched direct-on-line starter designed for motors with braking functionality, but without performance class designation. It comes in a gray/black plastic enclosure with an IP54 degree of protection, making it suitable for environments requiring dust and splash resistance. This motor starter integrates AS-Interface communication capabilities, functioning as an A/B slave compliant with AS-I specification V2.1. It features short-circuit protection and motor starter protectors with bi-metal thermal overload protection, adhering to performance class 10A. The device includes a rotary operating mechanism and M-GLAND power connections. This special version new design incorporates sensor/actuator connectivity with 1x AS-I and 3xDI/DO power sensor U-AUX. Manual operation is not available on this model. It is designed for direct-on-line starting and braking applications. The integrated AS-Interface facilitates seamless integration into automation systems.
