Description  
The 3TK2826-1BB44 is a phased-out SIRIUS safety relay from Siemens, now superseded by the 3SK2 series (refer to FAQ 109741483 for details). This safety relay is designed with relay enabling circuits (EC) and operates on a 24 V DC power supply. Its compact 45 mm width makes it suitable for space-constrained installations. The relay features screw terminals for secure and reliable connections. It provides instantaneous enabling circuits with 2 normally open (NO) contacts, as well as delayed enabling circuits with 2 NO contacts. Additionally, it incorporates 4 semiconductor outputs (SC). The device offers a switch with 8 pre-configured functions, serving as a versatile basic unit for safety applications. According to EN 13849-1, the maximum achievable Performance Level (PL) depends on the specific application and safety configuration. Similarly, the maximum achievable Safety Integrity Level (SIL) according to IEC 61508 is 3, indicating a high level of safety integrity.
