The SIRIUS 3TK2857-1BB42 is a safety relay designed for monitoring safety circuits and implementing safety functions in industrial automation systems. It features contactor relay enabling circuits (EC) for reliable and safe operation. This safety relay operates on a 24 V DC supply voltage, ensuring compatibility with various control systems. With a compact 90 mm design, it is suitable for installation in control cabinets with limited space. The relay utilizes screw terminals for secure and easy wiring connections. It provides instantaneous enabling circuits and three normally open (NO) delayed enabling circuits with a time delay adjustable from 0.5 to 30 seconds. It does not have any safety certified (SC) outputs. As an expansion unit, the maximum achievable Performance Level (PL) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) are equivalent to the basic unit it is connected to, maintaining the overall safety integrity of the system. This safety relay is ideal for applications requiring reliable and flexible safety monitoring and control.
