The 3VA2780-1BF15-4HA0 is a robust, fixed-mounted molded case circuit breaker from Siemens, designed for reliable circuit protection in demanding applications. This 4-pole breaker, part of the frame 1600 series, features an Electronic Trip Unit (ETU660) offering comprehensive LSIG (Long-Short-Instantaneous-Ground) protection. The rated current (In) is 800A, adjustable via the ETU660, which also provides a clear display for monitoring and communication functions. Adjustable parameters include Ir (320...800A), Isd (0.6...10xIn), and Ii (1.5...15xIn), allowing precise tailoring of protection settings. N conductor protection is adjustable (OFF, 50%, 100%, 150%, 200%) to accommodate various system configurations. Ground fault protection (Ig=0.1...1 x In, tg=0.1 - 1.0s) can be enabled or disabled as needed. The breaker boasts a high interrupting capacity (Icu) of 55kA at 415V, ensuring effective fault clearing. It includes a real-time clock (RTC) and 4 auxiliary trip alarm switches (S24) for enhanced monitoring and control. This model is equipped with a straight bus connector extended and optional communication connections, including an integrated breaker connect 24 V DC module, actuator COM ACT, COM RTC, and COM PSS (as draw-out version), but lacks a measurement function. The motorized operating mechanism operates at 220...250 V AC/DC and includes an S21 spring energy store signaling switch, along with electrical and mechanical calling. It also features a switch-on solenoid (CC) operating at 220-240 V AC/DC, but does not include a 2nd or 1st auxiliary release.
