The 3VL5731-3EC46-0AA0 is a robust 4-pole circuit breaker from Siemens, designed for line protection in electrical systems. It belongs to the VL630L series, known for its very high breaking capacity, with an ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) of 100kA at 415V AC. This circuit breaker features a TM trip unit, specifically configured for LI (Long-Time and Instantaneous) protection. The rated current (In) is 315A, with an adjustable overload protection range (IR) from 250A to 315A. For short-circuit protection, the instantaneous tripping current (II) is adjustable from 1575A to 3150A. The N-conductor is protected. This model does not include an auxiliary release, nor does it have an auxiliary/alarm switch. It ensures reliable protection against overloads and short circuits in demanding applications. Its high breaking capacity makes it suitable for environments where high fault currents are a concern.
