The Siemens Sinamics POWER Module PM240-2 (6SL3210-1PE21-1AL0) is a highly efficient and reliable power module designed for controlling three-phase AC motors. It features a built-in Class A filter to minimize electromagnetic interference and a built-in braking chopper for dynamic braking applications. This module supports a wide input voltage range of 380-480V AC (+10/-10%) at 47-63Hz. The PM240-2 offers two overload modes: a high overload mode for demanding applications requiring 3kW output (200% for 3s, 150% for 57s, 100% for 240s) at ambient temperatures between -10 to +50 degrees Celsius, and a low overload mode providing 4kW output (150% for 3s, 110% for 57s, 100% for 240s) at ambient temperatures between -10 to +40 degrees Celsius. Its compact design measures 291 x 100 x 165 mm (Height x Width x Depth) and comes in FSB frame size. The module has an IP20 protection rating, ensuring safety against solid objects. Note that this power module does not include a control unit or panel and is approved for CU firmware version V4.6.
