The Sinamics POWER Module PM240-2 (6SL3211-1PB21-0AL0) is a highly integrated drive component designed for variable speed control in industrial applications. It features a built-in Class A filter, effectively reducing electromagnetic interference and ensuring compliance with EMC standards. An integrated braking chopper allows for efficient dissipation of regenerative energy, enhancing braking performance and system safety. This module supports both single-phase and three-phase AC input voltage ranging from 200 to 240V +10/-10% at 47-63Hz. It offers two overload modes: a high overload mode delivering 1.5kW for demanding applications requiring 200% overload for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, or 100% for 240 seconds, suitable for ambient temperatures between -10 to +50 degrees Celsius; and a low overload mode providing 2.2kW for applications needing 150% overload for 3 seconds, 110% for 57 seconds, or 100% for 240 seconds, within an ambient temperature range of -10 to +40 degrees Celsius. The module's dimensions are 345mm (height) x 154mm (width) x 171mm (depth), and it comes in a FSB frame size with IP20 protection, safeguarding against solid objects. Note that this power module is supplied without a Control Unit and Panel, and it is approved for use with CU firmware version V4.6.
