The Sinamics G120 Power Module PM250 (6SL3225-5AA1) is a robust and versatile drive component designed for controlling three-phase AC motors. It features an integrated Class A filter, minimizing electromagnetic interference and ensuring compliance with EMC standards. This module offers regenerative capabilities, allowing energy generated during braking to be fed back into the power supply, enhancing energy efficiency. It supports a wide input voltage range of 380-480V AC (+10/-10%) at 47-63Hz, making it suitable for various industrial power grids. The PM250 provides two overload modes: a high overload capacity of 5.5kW for demanding applications requiring 200% overload for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, or 100% for 240 seconds, and a light overload capacity of 7.5kW for applications needing 150% for 3 seconds, 110% for 57 seconds, or 100% for 240 seconds. It is designed to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from 0 to +50 degrees Celsius under high overload conditions and 0 to +40 degrees Celsius under light overload conditions. The module's compact dimensions of 334 x 189 x 185 mm (Height x Width x Depth) and frame size FSC facilitate easy integration into control cabinets. It has an IP20 protection rating, requiring additional enclosure for harsh environments. Note that this power module is supplied without a Control Unit and Basic Operator Panel (BOP), which must be ordered separately to complete the drive system.
