Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7040-5AK71-1GB0 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor delivers a continuous torque of 1.6 Nm and a rated speed of 6000 rpm, providing an output of 0.69 kW. It features natural cooling, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. The motor is designed with an IM B5 flange mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3). A rotatable power/signal connector plug offers flexible cable routing options with a 270° range of adjustment. The integrated BASIC ABSOLUTE ENCODER A-32 provides 32 pulses per revolution for accurate position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder results in a 10% performance reduction. The motor includes a shaft with a fitted key and tolerance N, along with a holding brake for secure standstill positioning. It is protected to IP64 standards, ensuring resistance to dust and splashing water.
