Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1FA3 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor delivers a continuous torque of 3.0 Nm at 100K, with a rated speed of 3000 rpm and a power output of 0.82 kW. It features natural cooling, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. The motor is designed with an IM B5 flange mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3). It incorporates a rotatable power/signal connector plug, adjustable by 270 degrees, offering flexible connection options. An absolute encoder with 2048 pulses per revolution (Encoder A-2048) and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface provides high-resolution position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% performance reduction. The shaft is equipped with a fitted key and manufactured to tolerance N standards. This motor does not include a holding brake and offers IP64 protection, safeguarding against dust and splashing water, finished with a RAL7016 paint.
