Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1FG0 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor delivers a continuous torque of 3.0 Nm and a power output of 0.82 kW at 3000 rpm, operating under 100K conditions. It features natural cooling, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. The motor is designed with an IM B5 flange mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3). Power and signal connections are facilitated through rotatable connectors, offering flexibility in cable routing with a 270-degree rotation range. An absolute encoder with 2048 pulses per revolution (Encoder A-2048) and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface provides high-resolution position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% performance reduction. The motor has a plain shaft with tolerance N and does not include a holding brake. It is protected to IP64 standards, ensuring resistance to dust and splashing water.
