Description  
The SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1FG3 is a compact synchronous servo motor designed for precision motion control applications. This motor features a rated torque of 3.0 Nm and is capable of operating at speeds up to 3000 rpm, delivering a power output of 0.82 kW. The motor is naturally cooled, eliminating the need for external cooling systems and simplifying installation. It is designed with an IM B5 flange mounting configuration (also compatible with IM V1 and IM V3), providing versatile mounting options. The power and signal connectors are pluggable and can be rotated by 270°, offering flexible cable routing. An absolute encoder with 2048 pulses per revolution (Encoder A-2048) and a DRIVE-CLiQ interface ensures accurate position feedback. Note that the absolute encoder causes a 10% performance reduction. The motor has a plain shaft with tolerance N and does not include a holding brake. It is protected to IP64 standards and finished with a RAL7016 paint, offering protection against dust and water splashes.
