The SIMOTICS SD motor, identified by type 1CV1205B, is a low-voltage, IEC standard squirrel-cage rotor motor designed for robust industrial applications. This self-cooled motor features an IP55 protection rating, ensuring resilience against dust and water ingress. Its temperature class is 155(F), utilizing insulation according to 130(B), all encased within a durable gray cast iron housing. As part of the Basic Line IE1 series, this motor meets IE3 efficiency standards as mandated by (EU) 2019/1781, effective from July 1, 2021. This 4-pole motor, size 200L, delivers 30 kW at 50 Hz and 34.5 kW at 60 Hz. The standard color is RAL 7030, but may feature Siemens or Innomotics branding based on availability. It supports 3 AC power at 50 Hz with 400 VD/690 VY and 3 AC at 60 Hz with 460 VD, configured for IM B3 mounting without integrated motor protection, and the terminal box is located on top.
