Description  
The SIMOTICS SD motor, identified by type 1CV3164A, is a low-voltage, IEC standard squirrel-cage rotor motor designed for industrial applications. This self-cooled motor features an IP55 enclosure, providing protection against dust and water spray. It is designed with temperature class 155(F) insulation, allowing operation at higher temperatures, but is utilized according to 130(B). The motor's robust gray cast iron housing ensures durability and vibration resistance. As a Performance Line product, it boasts Premium Efficiency IE3, minimizing energy consumption and reducing operational costs. This 2-pole motor, size 160L, delivers 18.5 kW at 50 Hz and 21.3 kW at 60 Hz. When operating at 60 Hz, it meets the IE2 efficiency standard (P60). The standard color is RAL 7030 (stone grey); however, this can be customized with a different RAL color code upon request. Depending on the production batch, the motor will be branded either with the Siemens or Innomotics logo.
