The SIMOTICS XP motor, identified as type 1CD3220B, is a robust low-voltage motor designed for industrial applications. This IEC squirrel-cage rotor motor features self-cooling and an IP55 protection rating, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments. Its temperature class is 155(F), utilizing insulation according to 130(B) standards. The motor is encased in a durable gray cast iron housing, providing enhanced protection and longevity. As a Basic Line Premium Efficiency IE3 motor, it offers exceptional energy efficiency. This 4-pole motor, size 225S, delivers 37 kW at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz. It is an Ex db (eb) IIC T4 version, making it suitable for zone 1 hazardous areas. The standard color is RAL 7030, but alternative colors can be specified via order code. Depending on the production batch, the product will be branded either Siemens or Innomotics. It supports 3AC 50 Hz 400VD/690VY and 3AC 60 Hz 460VD configurations, with an IM B3 mounting design and a terminal box located at the top, and it does not include motor protection.
