The SIMOTICS M compact asynchronous motor 1PH7163-7QB03-0BA3 from Siemens is a high-performance motor designed for demanding industrial applications. This motor delivers 12 kW of power at 500 rpm, producing a torque of 229.2 Nm in constant torque mode. In variable torque mode, it provides 9.5 kW at 400 rpm with 226.8 Nm of torque. Operating at 400 V 3 AC and 50 Hz, it draws 30 A and is cooled by a fan for efficient thermal management. The motor features a relative motor encoder 1 VSS 2048 P/U with a Drive-CLiQ interface on the non-drive end (NDE) for precise control and feedback. Its robust design includes a terminal box on top with cable entry on the right, conforming to EN 50262 standards. The motor is configured in design IM B35 (IM V15, IM V36) and has vibration severity grade R, with shaft and flange accuracy also at grade R. It includes a fitted key and half-key balancing, with airflow directed from the drive end (DE) to the NDE. Protected to IP55 with a fan at IP54, it is finished with a standard paint in RAL 7016.
