The SIMOTICS M Compact induction motor 1PH8286-1DC40-2EU1-Z K24 from Siemens is a high-performance motor designed for demanding industrial applications. It offers multiple operating points, including 700 rpm at 219 kW with 2988 Nm torque and 455 A at 325 V, 800 rpm at 250 kW with 2984 Nm torque and 435 A at 385 V, and 1000 rpm at 310 kW with 2961 Nm torque and 450 A at 460 V. The motor features through-flow ventilation for efficient cooling and is protected to IP23 standards. It incorporates a 22-bit incremental encoder with commutation position feedback (encoder IC22DQ) and a Drive-CLiQ interface for precise control. The motor is designed with IM B3 (IMV6) construction, a shaft with a key and half-key balancing, and high transverse force bearing design. Vibration class A ensures smooth operation, while shaft and flange accuracy are rated to N standards. The NDE terminal box is located on the right, with cable entry at the bottom and signal cable connection at the drive end.
