The ABB TEF4-OFF (1SBN020114R1000) is a frontal electronic timer designed to provide timing functionality directly on AF, AFC contactors, or NF, NFC contactor relays, offering a space-saving solution within electrical cabinets compared to using standalone timers. This timer is easily mounted on the front of the contactor or contactor relay and secured, simplifying installation. A mechanical indicator is integrated to visually display the operational state of the contactor. Power is supplied through a direct plug-in parallel connection to the A1-A2 coil terminals of the contactor or contactor relay, streamlining wiring. An integrated varistor provides surge protection for the contactor coil, enhancing system reliability. The TEF4-OFF supports a broad control voltage range of 24 to 240 V AC/DC, making it versatile for various applications. It enables time-delayed functions up to 100 seconds across three selectable time ranges, independent of the control system. Time delay ranges are easily configured via a switch, and the precise delay is adjustable with a rotary switch.
