The SIRIUS MCU motor starter 3RK4324-3FR54-0BC0 from Siemens is an electromechanically switched direct-on-line starter designed for motors. It offers comprehensive protection, including short-circuit and motor starter protection, utilizing bi-metal thermal overload relays. This starter is enclosed in an IP54-rated plastic housing, providing protection against dust and splashing water. Communication is facilitated through AS-Interface, supporting A/B slave AS-I specification V2.1. The device features a manual operation mechanism, indicated by the gray/black rotary operator. Connection to power is achieved via M-gland connectors. This special version includes sensor and actuator capabilities with 1x AS-I and 2xDI/DO for power sensor U-AUX. Braking functionality is integrated without performance class 2A, and it is designed with a new design.
