The SIRIUS 3TK2845-2DB42 is a phased-out safety relay from Siemens, now superseded by the 3SK2 series. This device combines relay and electronic technology, operating on a 24 V DC power supply. Its compact 45 mm width makes it suitable for space-constrained installations. The relay features spring-type terminals for secure and efficient wiring. It provides two normally open (NO) instantaneous contacts and two normally closed (NC) delayed contacts for versatile safety circuit implementation. Additionally, it includes one semiconductor contact (SC) with monitored start functionality. As a basic device, it offers a foundation for building comprehensive safety systems. The 3TK2845-2DB42 is designed to achieve a maximum Performance Level (PL) according to EN 13849-1 and a Safety Integrity Level (SIL) of 3 according to IEC 61508, ensuring a high level of safety and reliability in machine and plant automation applications.
