The SINAMICS Power Module PM240-2 (6SL3211-1PC22-2AL0) is a highly efficient and reliable power electronic component designed for controlling AC motors in a variety of industrial applications. This module features an integrated Class A filter, effectively minimizing electromagnetic interference and ensuring compliance with stringent emission standards. It also incorporates a braking chopper, enabling controlled braking of the motor and dissipation of regenerative energy. The module is designed to operate within a voltage range of 200-240V 3AC +10/-10% at a frequency of 47-63Hz. It offers two power overload modes: a high overload mode of 4kW at 200% for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds, and a low overload mode of 5.5kW at 150% for 3 seconds, 110% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds. The module is designed to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -10 to +50°C in high overload mode and -10 to +40°C in low overload mode. Its compact dimensions of 411x200x171 mm (HxWxD) and a frame size of FSC allow for easy integration into various control cabinets. The module has a degree of protection of IP20-PT, ensuring protection against solid objects.
