The SINAMICS G120 Control Unit CU240S S-Type is a versatile component designed for controlling Siemens SINAMICS G120 modular inverter systems. It features a standard RS-485 interface, supporting USS protocol for seamless communication with other devices. Equipped with 9 digital inputs (DI) and 3 digital outputs (DQ), it offers flexible control options for various applications. The unit also includes 2 analog inputs (AI) and 2 analog outputs (AQ) for precise signal processing. A built-in PTC/KTY interface allows for temperature monitoring of motors, ensuring safe operation. An integrated EM brake relay provides reliable control of electromagnetic brakes. The MMC interface enables convenient parameterization and diagnostics via memory cards. Furthermore, an encoder interface facilitates closed-loop control for enhanced performance. Designed with IP20 degree of protection, it is suitable for installation in protected environments with an ambient temperature range of -10 to +50 °C. Note that this control unit does not include a Power Module or Basic Operator Panel (BOP).
